Winter seeding schedule

The landscapers will start winter seeding October 9th. In order to prepare for this, please turn off your sprinklers\irrigation lines this week, to allow your lawn to dry out and get ready for scalping. (You can keep watering plants.) The Lawns are scheduled to be scalped October 2nd. Seeding will be done October 9th and then you will need to turn your sprinklers back on that evening. At that time, please set your sprinkler clocks to water 4 times a day for 3 minutes each time. (7:00 am, 11:00 am, 2:00 pm, 5:00 pm) This information is dependent on the weather and if it cooperates, but this is the schedule thus far.

Board Meeting - Proposed changes to the CC&R's

The next board meeting is set for Wednesday, August 7th at 6:00pm at the Heywood Office Building. Please join us as the board will be reviewing the proposed changes to the CC&R's. Attached is an overview of the proposed changes to the CC&R's. Please let the board know of any concerns, changes, questions, etc. that you may have. You can send an email to info@heywoodmanagement.com, or attend the Board meeting and bring up any concerns in person.  The new documents are available for review under the governing documents tab below. Painting - Landscaping

A few updates: Landscaping This week, the landscapers cleaned up all yards and streets, but the yards were still wet in many areas from the overnight rain, so many of the yards were not able to be mowed this week.     Wall Painting Work Painters have been prepping, repairing and getting the walls ready for painting.  Primer is being applied today and looks reddish-brown. Weather permitting, the final coat of wall paint should start being applied tomorrow on Friday. Attached is a map showing the flow of the painting work. Owners that have irrigation against walls will be given a notice at their unit, prior to painting, so they can turn their sprinklers off on the day the wall by their home will be painted.

Common Area Block Wall Painting

We wanted to let you know that the HOA will start painting the street monuments and the interior common area walls on Monday. This should not directly affect anyone but wanted to let you know so if you see workers in the community painting and repairing the walls, you know what they are up to. Attached is a map showing the areas the walls will be fixed and painted.

Time for spring cleaning & make some extra $$$ Community Garage Sale  Saturday, March 16th, 7am-2pm Reminder:  Uncontained Trash is the following week. Leftover items may be placed on the curb for the Town of Gilbert to pick up.

Luminary Walk and Holiday Donations

Please see the attached flyer's regarding the upcoming luminary walk and holiday donations for the Midwest Food Bank. Also, just a reminder to be careful when putting up and taking down holiday lights and decorations. For safety, never get on a ladder without someone watching. Be safe and have a wonderful holiday!

A FEW COMMUNITY REMINDERS

FALL FESTIVAL – The Fall Festival for the community will be November 3rd from 4:00 – 6:00 pm. Mark your calendars if you haven't already. Please see the attached flyer. More information will be distributed to each Resident – Hope you can come. COMMUNITY GARAGE SALE – the Community Garage Sale will happen next Saturday, October 20th. This will be from 7am – 2pm. The Board will put up the banner and advertise in Craig's List. A good time to clean things out and make a little $$$. LANDSCAPING – ADJUST SPRINKLERS – The lawns have been scalped and winter lawn seed installed. Please adjust your sprinkler clocks to have short bursts of water 3-5 min 3 or 4 times a day to keep the seed wet and allow it to germinate. This needs to happen for about 2 weeks. BULK TRASH – A reminder that Gilbert has changed trash days to Wednesdays. Also bulk trash will happen next week, and not the 4th Monday of the month after the garage sale.
