Breckenridge Manor

It was noticed that a few Bulk Trash pick up piles have appeared in the streets. We are lucky that the Town of Gilbert offers this awesome service each month. One Problem, this is NOT the week of Bulk garbage pick up. Breckenridge Manor is in Zone D, which sharts the 4th Monday of each month. This month the week of bulk pickup starts Monday, Feb 25th, next week. Trash may be put out starting the Saturday before bulk pick up. Gilbert can come any day of bulk trash pick up. They ask for items to be out on the curb by 5:00 am Monday morning. Gilbert may change bulk trash pick up next year, but for this year, we will be the 4th full week of the month. If in doubt, prior to putting anything out for bulk pick up, check with the Town of Gilbert Website. They have the dates of pick up, helpful hints, and ways to get rid of things that Bulk pick up will not take. You can also find it quickly but Googling “Gilbert Bulk Trash Pickup”. Either way, you can find bulk trash pick up info quickly. No need to make a mistake by putting trash out too early. If you lease your unit, please make sure this information makes it to your tenants.

Our community was lit up this holiday season with lights and luminaries.  It was very festive within Breckenridge Manor Community. Visit the "documents" folder and navigate to "Holidays Around Breckenridge Manor" to view pictures of lights, luminaries and Holiday Decorating contest winner pictures.

Landscapers will be mowing the grass next week on Wednesday 11/8 and will need all irrigation off Tuesday & Wednesday. After they mow they'll be there with a dump trailer full of black mulch and more seed to put down to spot fill more areas not yet taking to the over seeding.

There have been reports of roof rats in the community. Please clean up your yards and remove fruit from your trees. Roof rats are a big problem in Gilbert and if not contained, they will spread.

Below is a note from Don Jackson of Growing Season. He was contracted to treat all the pine trees in the common areas and would like to offer his services to the residents of Breckenridge Manor.  I worked out an average price for the tree treatment. The average varies from $150-200/ per tree. It is depending on the size certainly. I would need at least 6 trees to treat to make it worth my time with no trip charge. I will try to come down every other week if necessary to help get things healthy for them. They are welcome to email, text or call me anytime. I would love to answer any questions they might have. There will be a Social Committee meeting on the 18th at 311 E Kroll Dr at 7pm 

The Board of Directors Meeting will be held at Heywood Management at 6pm on August 1st. Following the Board of Directors Meeting there will be a brief ARC Meeting.

Board of Directors meetings will be held the first Tuesday of the month at Heywood Management at 6 pm.
